| What Good Can A Dollar Do? |

In the midst of all the suffering and need of this world, what good can a donation of a single dollar do?
When combined with the single dollar from 1,000 or more other people, given once a week– your dollar can achieve heaps!
During each year we have incidental requests for funds from our front-line ministries for things that just happen – a computer fails and needs replacing, a small flood or disaster wipes out a church building, a sponsored child going to tertiary study needs help with the extra fees to complete their course … These are unexpected events and need funds urgently. Most are under $5,000, but we do not have funds just lying around to help, so what we would like to do is to have a fund that is being constantly replenished so we can forward funds for these emergencies quickly.
So we are launching our appeal for you to join us in giving a single dollar per week to this fund. If we all did this, then we would have close to $4,000 dollars per week to meet the pressing needs of situations around the world, and which one of us would miss that dollar?
It’s the power of your dollar joined with those of many others – simple but very effective.
How? Again a very simple solution. A Direct Debit form is enclosed in this magazine for you to complete and send back to us in the envelope supplied. This is the most efficient way of making this happen and our bank is working with us to ensure it does work easily. We will not be checking for any payments missed (as they do sometimes) or reminding you if you decide to cancel out.Please ensure you fill in all the details and sign the form.
We will send you a dedicated report on each project for which we use your dollar – and your dollar could support up to ten projects per year!
In all this we must remember that nothing is ever too small for God to use, even a single dollar per week. Let’s see the power of God at work - as we give Him this little bit we will see what He can do through this ministry.
