Bougainville ministry puts hopes in your hands

As part of our desire to invest in the lives of the people of Bougainville we are wanting to raise $10,000 to enable Kidron to complete the boys’ dormitory and develop an Early Childhood Training Centre.

In south Bougainville, International Needs NZ has had a long-term relationship with Kidron Ministries.

Through the generosity of Kiwis and our partnership with Kidron we are able to support a number of community workers and community development projects. These projects have included the building of a guest house in Buka. This guest house will provide much needed training and employment opportunities for locals as well as helping to fund the many other projects that Kidron are involved in. Kidron is integral to the development of Bougainville as it continues to make progress after a devastating 10-year brutal civil war.

As part of our desire to invest in the lives of the people of Bougainville we are wanting to raise $10,000 to enable Kidron to complete the boys’ dormitory and develop an Early Childhood Training Centre.

Upstairs, this building will house young men who are attending Kidron for educational purposes and

downstairs, it will be a learning centre for locals to be trained in Early Childhood Education. These two facilities, located in the one building, will have the potential to train and equip men and women with skills to make a positive difference in the communities of Bougainville.

Will you invest into Kidron in Bougainville and give the next generation the tools to transform lives and change communities?

Could you help us with a gift of $100 to help fund this project?

Please note: Your gift is fully tax deductible by Inland Revenue at 33.3% for donations to disaster relief, community development, child sponsorship and NZ Aid projects. If it is for evangelism, church planting and supporting church workers it is refunded at 6% - being a refund of the portion of administration charges used to run the NZ office.
